Why Bigger Breakfast?
Everyone loves a cooked breakfast: from sizzling sausages, eggs sunny side up and a mountain of mushrooms, there’s something for everyone on the plate. And it’s even better being able to tuck into a monster breakfast treat if you’re in good company.
That’s exactly what The Bigger Breakfast is about.
Not only will you be in the good company of other men from your church (and beyond), but you’ll also be able to take part knowing that other men’s groups across the UK will be taking part in The Bigger Breakfast at the same time.
And if we can get more than the 18,942 diners who took part in a cooked breakfast at the Cowboy Breakfast Foundation breakfast in 2001, we’ll be world record breakers!
It’s easily achievable. If every Baptist church took part and rustled up 20 men, we’d easily have more than 40,000 diners! And beat 2009's attempt!
The Bigger Breakfast takes place on Saturday September 25, 2010. We’ll all need to sit down for our cooked breakfast around 9am. Where you host it is up to you. It could be in someone’s home, your church hall, or even a local café, pub or restaurant. You might even be adventurous and go for the big outdoors (weather permitting of course!)
